Got Jesus?

Is something missing from your life?  Do you wonder sometimes, "what's the point, what's life all about anyway"?  "Why am I here?" "Does my life have a purpose?"

All these questions can be answered with one word, JESUS.  If you don't already know Jesus personally, He is the thing that is missing from your life.  Jesus is the point and the purpose of your life.

If you don't already have a personal relationship with Jesus, we at Emmanuel would like to help you begin your journey.

Probably the most common misconception about salvation is that one just needs to live a reasonably good life and all will be well.  While that may be a start, Jesus the Christ made it very clear that life is to be lived in His name. (Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. -John 14:6).  Like people who have food and choose to share with those who are starving, people who love Jesus- share his love- because only Jesus saves. In Romans 8, Paul explains Jesus died for all of us so we may share in life with him forever!  How do you live with Jesus for eternity?  Each of us is called to accept the  promise of life in Jesus.  Let our lives be focused on him and his life, death and resurrection.  Let our days be spent in the strength of his love so we may grow more and more in his grace.

Simply, God sent his Son to give everlasting life to whoever believes in him. And whoever believes in him is not condemned.  Put your name in the whoever, think about it, believe it and you are saved. Read John 3:16-17.

Give your life wholly and completely to Jesus and you will find the fulfillment you desire.

I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.  -Jeremiah 29:11 (CEB)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
