Welcome to Emmanuel UMC!

Join us for our weekly worship service every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

We are happy to announce that we have reopened our Sanctuary for in-person services, and that we also offer the services live streamed on Facebook and ZOOM. We have installed a portable air purification system to help improve the air quality in the church during our gatherings. We are working to offer the safest environment and many options to make it possible for everyone to find the best way to gather with us each Sunday!  May Christ’s love be a blessing in your life today, Emmanuel UMC

New Free Food Pantry

Free Food Pantry in partnership with the Nights of Columbus and CCAP of Winchester

Will be offering a free food pantry for the community on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Mondays of each month, starting May 10th, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

We are also partnering with CCAP to distribute monthly food allotments to individuals in need of food assistance. These deliveries from CCAP will take place in our parking lot on the 4 th Monday of each month from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, beginning in May. They will include nonperishable and perishable items, such as produce, fruit, meat, eggs, bread, snack items and desserts. The first two deliveries, in May and June, will be available to anyone. Beginning with the July delivery, individuals will be encouraged to complete an application to become CCAP clients. The benefits of becoming a client are continued monthly food deliveries, monthly clothing assistance, and financial assistance once every six months for expenses such as rent, utilities, etc. Other services may also be provided through partnerships with community agencies. Proof of residency in Winchester or Frederick County is required as part of the application process. Please spread the word to anyone who may benefit from the many services CCAP offers. Emmanuel UMC is happy to be a partner with CCAP in this ministry to local residents.
